Our 2019 Mission Memories

2019 was a year of firsts for Crosspointe Church. We were blessed to be able to visit Guatemala and Mexico, and will be visiting Brooklyn for the first time this coming fall. Our Mission Team’s lives were touched by the love of the people they met and the life-changing work they were able to do for them. Thank you to those who went on the trips and gave their all to helping those in need. It’s because of you that we are able to make a difference.

Guatemala

On this trip our team partnered with Living Water Teaching and accompanied healthcare professionals in providing care to the Guatemalan people. This trip was not limited to medical care. We had a wide variety of opportunities to share the love of Jesus throughout our time in Guatemala.

“I learned to get out of my comfort zone with the language barrier and to trust God to make a way for the children and adults to encounter Jesus through me. To truly be God’s ambassador. The trip to Guatemala was about seeing the love of God in action.”

Mexico

On this trip our team partnered with Manos Juntas for an unforgettable construction trip to Mexico. We had the opportunity to use our skills and strengths to serve the Lord in construction and experience first hand what making a difference is all about. We were able to construct two homes for families in need.

“We thought we came to bless some families with a home and pass along the love of God. We ended up being showered in His blessing and graced by the families’ love.”
