What Opportunities Are Available on the Security Team?

Guided by the values of Crosspointe Church, the Security Team is committed to extending grace and hospitality to everyone who enters our campus while faithfully carrying the responsibility of protecting our house of worship. We desire for every person to encounter Jesus here. At the same time, we recognize that our first and most sacred responsibility is to ensure the safety and security of our children, youth, and every member of our congregation.

Parents and guardians entrust us not only with the spiritual care of their children, but also with their physical and emotional well-being. We take that trust seriously.

For this reason, we establish clear boundaries, strictly control access to sensitive areas, and actively monitor our facilities and activities. Any behavior or action that could place minors or members of our church family at risk will be addressed immediately and with the utmost seriousness. Protecting our children, youth, and congregation is more than a policy requirement. It is a moral and spiritual mandate. Out of love for our church family, we will not allow exceptions, unnecessary leniency, or disregard for the safeguards that protect them.

Security Team

• Arrive 30 minutes before each service to check in, receive assignments, and walk your designated area.
• Maintain a visible, calm presence throughout the campus to help create a safe and welcoming environment.
• Monitor entrances, parking areas, hallways, and key access points.
• Be alert and observant, watching for anything unusual or out of place.
• Respond appropriately to situations using training and established procedures.
• Communicate clearly and promptly with team members and leadership regarding any concerns.
• Assist with medical situations or emergencies until additional help arrives.
• Participate in ongoing training, tabletop scenarios, and safety discussions.
• Help ensure that all activities on campus are conducted in a safe and orderly manner.
• 30 minutes before each service to prepare and ensure all areas are secure.
