The Season of Giving is one of the best times of the year. It’s a chance to show the love of Jesus in real, meaningful ways and bless people right here in the Ada community.
Each year, our Thanksgiving Drive-Thru grows and so does the number of families we are blessed to serve! Because of this wonderful growth, we simply don’t have the space to store all the donated food items. But that doesn’t stop the giving spirit! This year, instead of bringing food, we invite you to partner with us by donating funds to help us purchase the meals. Your generosity will make it possible for families in need to enjoy a warm, homestyle Thanksgiving dinner.
You can give any amount, but a $100 donation will provide a complete Thanksgiving meal for a family of six, including a ham and all the traditional sides.
In addition to providing Thanksgiving meals, your giving and serving can bring joy to local children and adults with Christmas gifts, and share the love of Jesus with the elderly.
Every act of kindness, every hour you give, and every dollar you donate is a chance to show someone that Jesus loves them and that they are not forgotten. Together, we are not just meeting needs but we are changing lives. As we live out Crosspointe’s mission of Reaching Together, Making a Difference, we are showing our community the heart of Jesus and reminding them that He is real.
Opportunities
Below are the opportunities available for the Season of Giving.
Thanksgiving Drive-Thru
Saturday, November 22, 2025
This year, we are excited to host a Thanksgiving Drive-Thru and provide an opportunity for people in our community to stop by and pick up a complete Thanksgiving meal.
We are looking for volunteers to help us share these blessings on Saturday, November 22, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM (or until all the food is given out). Volunteers should plan to arrive by 7:30 AM to help prepare and get everything ready.
You can also make a huge impact by sponsoring an entire Thanksgiving Dinner (including the ham) for $100. Every donation not only helps provide a Thanksgiving meal, but is a steady reminder of God’s love.
Desserts for Irving Center
Monday, November 24, 2025
As part of our Season of Giving, we have another special opportunity to bless our community! The Irving Senior Center has invited Crosspointe to help make 40 desserts for the Seniors’ Thanksgiving meals.
They have requested a variety of delicious treats, pies and cakes, to help make their holiday meal extra special. Desserts should be dropped off at Crosspointe by 11:00 AM on Monday, November 24.
This is a simple but meaningful way to share the love of Jesus and bring a little sweetness to someone’s Thanksgiving!
Christmas Gifts
Sunday, December 14, 2025
As we continue our Season of Giving, we are excited to spread the joy of Christmas by adopting children and adults from local agencies, including McCall’s, Rolling Hills, and Mama T’s. Our goal is to make sure each person receives a special gift that reminds them they are loved and not forgotten.
Volunteers are invited to “adopt” a child or adult, purchase gifts totaling around $50, wrap them, and return them to Crosspointe by Sunday, December 14.
This is a wonderful way to share the heart of Jesus and bring hope and joy to our neighbors this Christmas season.

Christmas Caroling
Saturday, December 13, 2025
This Christmas, we have a special opportunity to share joy with residents in local nursing homes. The holidays can be a lonely time for many, and too often, these individuals are forgotten in the rush of the season. That is why we want to take time to be present, to remind them they are loved, and to bring a little light into their day.
On Saturday, December 13 at 10:00 AM, we will gather at Crosspointe Church and visit local nursing homes to fill the hallways with holiday cheer by singing Christmas carols. As we share songs of hope and joy, we will remind each person that they are seen, loved, and never forgotten.
This is a simple but powerful way to live out the love of Jesus and make this Christmas truly meaningful.
Wrapping Party
Various dates in December
December 15–17, we will help wrap gifts at McCall’s Chapel School at various times throughout the day. This is always such a joyful and fun opportunity to serve and spread Christmas cheer while bringing a smile to someone’s face.
Whether you can stay for an hour or the whole day, your time and heart will make a difference. Come join us as we share the love of Jesus in a simple, hands-on way this Christmas season. And don’t worry, we’ll have Christmas music playing too!
