First Impressions Team

What Opportunities Are Available?

Greeter

Greeters share God’s love and joy with each Crosspointer and guest entering your door/area with a smile, handshake, or hug. Greeters are always on the lookout for those who may need assistance. Feel free to leave your area to meet their needs. Greeters arrive 30 minutes prior to service and remain at their assigned door until after the first worship song (or later, depending on the flow of traffic). A Crosspointe Kids Greeter may be assigned to assist with welcoming guests and members in the Crosspointe Kids area.

Requirements: Attend Crosspointe three months.

Host

Hosts share God’s love and joy with each Crosspointer and guest in the lobby with a smile, handshake or hug. Hosts are always on the lookout for those who may need assistance. Feel free to leave your area to meet their needs. Hosts arrive 30 minutes prior to service and are positioned near the main lobby doors.

Requirements: Attend Crosspointe three months.

Guide

Guides are mobile Greeters, ready to assist guests and members with questions and walking with them to various areas in the building (Crosspointe Kids, Nursery, etc.). Guides are always on the lookout for those who may need assistance. Feel free to leave your area to meet their needs. Guides arrive 30 minutes prior to service and remain in the lobby until after the first worship song (or later, depending on the flow of traffic).

Requirements: Attend Crosspointe three months.

Usher

Ushers share God’s love and joy with each Crosspointer and guest entering your interior door/area with a smile, handshake or hug. Ushers are always on the lookout for those who may need assistance and may be asked to assist with other tasks such as lights, thermostat adjustment, communion, or recommending Crosspointe Kids to families with excited children. Ushers assist in worship through giving by passing offering buckets within the auditorium during the designated times. See the day’s Head Usher for updates and instruction each time you serve. Ushers arrive 30 minutes prior to service and remain at their assigned door until after offering is complete.

Requirements: Attend Crosspointe six months.

Barista

Baristas share God’s love by serving up coffee and other drinks prior to the service. Baristas serve from 7:45-11:30 AM. Having a Philippians 4:8 mindset is vital – focus on the positive, even when we run out of coffee! On-the-job training is provided.

Requirements: Attend Crosspointe three months.

Volunteer Central Hospitality Team

Members of the Volunteer Central Hospitality Team share God’s love by providing breakfast and drinks to weekly volunteers in Volunteer Central. Serve times for these volunteers run from 7:45-8:35 and again from 10:10-10:35. No cooking is required.
